TECHNOLOGY
GEMINI DIODE LASER
The Gemini is a soft tissue dual-wavelength diode laser that can be used to conservatively treat many intraoral conditions including but not limited to: treatment of herpetic and apthous ulcers; treatment of infected and inflamed gums; gingivoplasty/gingivectomy; operculectomy; abscess incision and drainage; and hemostasis and coagulation. Dr. Ashley is certified with the American Board of Laser Surgery.
STA ( Single Tooth Anesthesia )
STA (Single Tooth Anesthesia) is a computer assisted anesthesia system designed for a more comfortable injection on lower molars. It is also effective in treating patients with a history of difficulty getting numb.
IRIS INTRAORAL CAMERA
The Iris intraoral camera brings the smallest details of your mouth into a magnified, crystal clear focus, making it a great visual tool for both patients and our clinical team. We have an Iris camera in every operatory because a picture is worth 1000 words!
VELscope Vx
The survival rate of late stage oral cancer is only 32%. Found early, the chance of surviving oral cancer increases to 83%. The VELscope Vx is used to assist in diagnosing any intraoral abnormalities including oral cancer and pre-cancerous conditions. The exam uses a blue light, takes less than 2 minutes, and there are no rinses, stains or discomfort.
AIR-FLOW
Air-Flow therapy uses a pressurized warm water spray in combination with soft powders to remove surface stains, plaque and food trapped between teeth.
ISOLITE
Isolite is a single use device that helps our patients during long procedures by constantly suctioning fluids, providing a soft cushion to rest their mouth, forming a barrier to protect the back of the throat, and lighting the mouth for our clinical team to perform procedures with ease.
DIGITAL XRAY
Our digital scanner allows us to view dental x-rays quickly and store them on the computer for quick reference. We are also able to enhance the images and better diagnose dental problems.
VALO CURING LIGHT
All of our operatories are equipped with an LED, VALO curing light by Ultradent. These curing lights harden dental materials in seconds making for quicker appointments. They also cure materials at a greater depth giving exceptional clinical results.
DEXIS CARIVU
DEXIS Carivu uses transillumination to diagnose tooth decay and cracks in teeth. It's a great addition to traditional x-rays!
